What's new

Version 2.3.0

2026-09-24

This version brings replies to individual messages, sync for nested folders and custom condition factors, plus clearer coloring – magenta is now reserved exclusively for "Pro". On top of that come several bug fixes around message timestamps, catalog download, and file import.

New

  • Reply to messages: Long-pressing a message or swiping quickly to the right shows a quote preview above the input field; the sent reply shows the quote, and tapping it jumps to the original message.
  • Wishlist straight into the collection: In the wishlist's card detail, "Add to collection" puts the card into your collection immediately with the chosen printing and condition.
  • Undo on the wishlist: When you remove a wishlist entry, you can undo it for a few seconds via "Undo" in the message at the bottom of the screen.

Improved

  • Nested folders and your own condition factors (Settings → Condition factors) now sync between your devices instead of staying local only.
  • Magenta is now exclusively the color for "Pro" – friends/trade, avatars, deck stats, and the price trend in card detail now use their own colors.
  • The price alert bell on the wishlist now opens the full card detail screen directly instead of a separate small window.
  • Short dates, e.g. in card detail or the wishlist, now follow your device's language.
  • The bottom navigation bar is easier to hit and is correctly labeled for screen readers (TalkBack/VoiceOver).

Fixed

  • Time and day grouping ("Today"/"Yesterday") for messages sometimes didn't match your actual local time.
  • The progress indicator when downloading the card catalog calculated against a total size that was too low – the bar now matches the actual end of the download.
  • The "System" theme option showed an unfinished, half-light appearance on devices set to light mode – lumex now stays consistently dark.
  • Tags with % or _ in the name were sometimes incorrectly flagged as a duplicate of another tag.
  • If a folder with subfolders was deleted on another device, the subfolders were lost instead of moving up one level.
  • Importing a file with an unusual character encoding occasionally failed.
  • Minor Android cleanup: lumex no longer unnecessarily asks for microphone permission, and push notifications now show their own icon in the status bar instead of a placeholder.
  • The old privacy policy link now leads to the current privacy policy on lumex-tcg.de.

Version 2.2.0

2026-09-23

This version brings nested folders, a new app icon, a real color picker for tags, and a full card detail screen for decks — plus several bug fixes for messages, catalog download, and push notifications.

New

  • Nested folders: Folders can now be nested up to three levels deep, in both the collection and decks. A folder icon marks rows that are nested deeper than a new folder could be created at.
  • Real color picker for tags: Instead of typing a hex code, there's now a color wheel with a slider, plus the existing quick-pick colors.
  • Full card detail screen for decks: Via "More details" on a deck card you can now pick printings, add the card to the wishlist or collection, and assign tags — including legalities and price.
  • Direct chat button on friends: An icon in the friends list opens the conversation with that person directly.
  • New app icon and app design: A new logo (Vortex) replaces the previous icon — app icon, splash screen, and store graphics are updated.
  • Richer home tiles: The overview tiles now show more context, e.g. how many cards were added this week or how far along your set collection is.

Improved

  • The progress bar when downloading the card catalog now shows actual progress in bytes instead of rough jumps.
  • Trade matches no longer show an unnecessary printing selector — that stays reserved for trade search, where it's actually needed.
  • Subfolders can now be collapsed, leaving more room for the cards themselves.
  • Shared decks can now be shared via a public link.

Fixed

  • New messages sometimes appeared in the wrong order, and the unread counter didn't always reset after reading.
  • The push notification toggle in settings now updates immediately when you return from the system settings.
  • Foil markers and the "Pro" marker accidentally used the same color — now clearly separated.

Version 2.1.1

2026-09-22

This version brings messaging between trade partners, more precise filters, more choice on the wishlist, and a price fix that affected around 35,000 cards.

New

  • Messages: You can now message your trade partners directly. Conversations run in threads, messages arrive instantly, and two checkmarks show whether a message was delivered and read. You can block a trade partner or report a message if needed.
  • Push notifications for messages: You get a notification for a new message, even when the app is closed. Tapping it opens the matching conversation directly.
  • New filters: Layout (for example Split, Transform, Saga) and Reserved List can now be filtered, along with print-accurate attributes like Full Art, Borderless, Showcase, Promo, and Etched Foil.
  • Manage folders: Folders can now be renamed and deleted — your cards stay intact, only the assignment disappears. You can also create a folder directly from an existing tag.
  • More choice on the wishlist: In a wishlist entry's detail screen you can now choose between all printings of a card, not just one.
  • Price alerts for wishlist cards: Set a target price, and the app shows whether the alert is off, active, or already triggered.

Improved

  • Trade matches appear instantly: If a card on your wishlist matches a trade partner's offer, you now see the match immediately — not at some point later.
  • "Only what I'm looking for" reacts instantly: The filter in trade search switches right away, without needing to close and reopen the window.

Fixed

  • Price display corrected: "Your value" on a card is now correctly based on the current trend price instead of an average value.
  • Fixed missing Cardmarket prices: Around 35,000 cards had no real Cardmarket price and showed an unreliable fallback value instead. This is now corrected.
  • Color filter in Commander mode: Cards not yet synced were incorrectly treated as colorless and slipped into the "colorless only" filter — fixed.
  • Minor sync issues fixed: Several minor errors syncing between devices were fixed.
